Deaf Awareness Week will be on the first week of May. This is a very important week for the Deaf community to celebrate their language and culture.

Deaf Plus would like to invite you to an event at Community House Bromley on 7th May 2024, in honour of Deaf Awareness Week. This event is aimed at professionals who work with the Deaf community and who have experienced difficulty providing services which meet their needs.

On the day, Deaf Plus will talk about Deaf History and also will teach some fingerspelling and basic sign language workshops; it would be fun for you to learn and enjoy. They will be providing teas and coffees and selling homemade cakes to help them cover the cost of the event.
