Employers have a legal duty to protect workers from musculoskeletal disorders at work by undertaking a risk assessment and acting on it. Recognising the signs of poor working practices and discomfort will help employers to take steps to manage, mitigate and prevent the negative impact that these conditions have on a workforce.
