DescriptionThe Main Hall measures 34ft x 38ft and has a stage measuring 14ft x 24ft. There is a minimum of 15ft 6ins headroom to the lights which means that full size ‘bouncy castles can be accommodated. Unlike other venues, they do not charge extra for the electricity used by bouncy castles. Those wishing to hire the Main Hall have use of the kitchen and facilities which include a microwave oven and a double oven and hob.

The Small Hall can be divided into two separate areas, one measuring 16ft x 18 ft, the other 24ft x 18 ft making a total of 40ft x 18 ft. There is also direct access to a small kitchenette

Description: Azelia Hall fronts onto the main Croydon Road with a paved garden area containing shrubs, small trees and flowers. The main Hall is approximately 55 feet by 35 feet, has panelled walls with one entirely of windows and french doors, and has an oak strip dance floor. Up to 100 people can be seated at tables in the main Hall. A small fitted bar is situated in one corner and a stage, approximately 35 feet wide by 18 feet deep, spans the end of the hall. The rear hall (Roger Spears Suite) is self contained with its own facilitiesThis room measures 29 feet by 13 feet and also can serve as the stage dressing room. There is also a small meeting room which can seat up to 6 people.

Beckenham Public Hall - Mytime Active (24/11/22)

DescriptionThe Main Hall has a large stage ideal for plays and concerts as well as theatre style meetings, conferences, performances and private functions.  It can accommodate 200 people with a theatre style layout for meetings, concerts or similar arrangements, 120 people for a sit down meal and 170 people for a buffet style event. The Small Hall has a licensed bar stocked with beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks, as well as a spacious kitchen allowing you to provide your own catering. The Small Hall can accommodate up to 30 for a small social gathering or children's birthday party and up to 60 for a meeting. Use of the Small Hall, and its bar facility, is included  when you hire the Main Hall. Both spaces are on the first floor, so guests can move between them easily. Ground Floor Room - If you have a smaller function in mind we can offer you a meeting room on the ground floor. It is equipped with a kitchenette for serving light refreshments and is also ideal for children’s parties. It can accommodate 30 for children's birthday parties and 60 for meetings.

Bromley Arts Trust (entry added 22/4/21)

This unique building built in 1899 was traditionally a family home to the Whyte family; all gifted musicians in 1925 the family acquired the services of architect Evelyn Hellicar to build the Music room for the four daughters. Many musicians have since played at Ripley including David Bowie, the Chilingirian Quartet and even Elgar. Today they welcome musicians and music students to perform in this very room. They also hire their premises for art exhibitions, art classes, weddings and private functions as well as educational and leisure activities.

The church is in the heart of Chelsfield new village opposite the parade of shops. There is a small car park at the church and more parking is available on Windsor Drive.  The church is also easily accessed by public transport.  The railway station is a few minutes walk away. The site was reopened in 2010, after a two year regeneration project, and the halls can now be found on the first floor of a beautifully refurbished commercial and residential complex. The halls are a community facility for use by local people and businesses; they are managed by a charitable trust and all income from hiring out the halls goes towards managing and maintaining them. At the moment there are still some restrictions as to functions that can be accepted and numbers that can be accommodated due to COVID 19 (please note, this information was accurate as of 16/2/22).

"This space will be free to use for running events. However, as we are a community cafe that runs the 'Front Room Club' for local people in the Downham area, we will only allow events during club time periods (Monday, Tuesday or Friday at 9:30am-2:30pm). And all activities must be inclusive to the members of the Front Room Club, who will be allowed to engage in the event that will preferably provide some kind of social/recreational benefit.

Items include ear defenders, sensory aids, fidget toys, rosary prayer beads and holding crosses. We also have some adult mindfulness coloring cards/bookmarks and felt pens.
